NOTE The duties of the Architects' Council include (source: Regulations on the Architects' Register, 1954):
- 'hearing and deciding on applications for registration of the Register of Architects';
- 'hearings and decisions' [regarding] 'the taking of measures with respect to those registered in the Architects' Register, who act contrary to the standing and dignity of architects and the care and independence which in social intercourse befit an architect' (disciplinary law). Hearings and rulings are made by the Chambers of the Architects' Council. Appeals against rulings can be made to the "Architectural Review Board.
