The 'old' inventory from 1992 has been completely revised and supplemented with descriptions of the later acquisitions. The 'old' numbering has been dropped (see the concordance at the back of the inventory). All the material has been rearranged and repackaged. The rolled-up drawings have been given a t-number, the folded drawings and written documents a d-number, the photographs a ph-number and the models an m-number. All books and several volumes of the magazine "Stein Holz Eisen, bauwirtschaft u. baugestaltung" (1929-1931) were transferred to the NAI library on this occasion (see Appendix 1 at the back of the inventory). The inventory is divided into three parts. The first part describes the documents of a more general nature, such as the personalia and the documents concerning "the 8", "Opbouw", CIAM and the Noord-Oostpolder. The second part contains the project files, arranged according to the original work numbers. The projects for which no work number is known have been inserted chronologically. The third part describes the documentation collected by Van Bodegraven. This includes brochures, magazines and newspaper clippings.
