The series of sketches consists mainly of original calques, often in color and photocopies in color.
With many projects there is a quantity of "other material," often consisting of photocopies, sometimes from other media and sometimes impressions in the form of simple collages etc. Occasional written pieces also appear here. Within the series of sketches, notes also occur frequently, on or with the sketches or as separate documents.
Within the sketches everything has been kept, no selection has been made. The sketches have been described as one whole within a series.

The office archive consists of drawings from the various project phases, from sketch design to working drawings. In addition, it contains written documents accompanying the designs, which, however, are not present in many projects or are present only to a small extent. Within the archive there is a considerable amount of 'booklets' within the designs (mostly presentation booklets, referred to at the office as 'project books').
Within the bureau archive, selection has taken place on the basis of a reasoned proposal for valuation and selection. This resulted in the categorization of the projects into four categories.' Within category 1 the complete files are preserved, for category 2 all original design drawings and the project books are preserved, within category 3 only the project books and incidentally some special (presentation) drawings are preserved, within category 4 project files as a whole are not preserved. All unselected material is returned to the office.
The office archive is described as a series of project files, in which all documents are brought together and arranged by project. Within the bureau archive is a small amount of non-project related material, which is described in the sections for that purpose.

Furthermore, in the acquisition with the bureau archive was a large amount of journals, magazine articles and clippings. These are included in the description of the bureau archive (under the heading Newspaper clippings) and in the library collection of The New Institute. Duplicates have been disposed of.
