Lisbon 1953 (inv. no. 468.7 to 468.9 ) Van den Broek took the initiative to publish series Habitation (development of housing in various European countries); part 1 (1955 presented at UIA congress in the Hague), part 2 (1959), part 3 (1964).

Warsaw 1954 (inv.no.468.10 ) This was not an official congress. Architects and urban planners met in a personal capacity to discuss the reconstruction of cities destroyed in WWII.

The Hague 1955 (inv.no.468.11 to 468.20 and 468.94 to 468.96).  Van den Broek was president of this congress.
