Aandewiel was a landowner/speculator. The very small file of about 50 drawings and some written documents concerns a few projects, in which he was probably involved in this capacity: by H. Bonda two housing projects for the Amsterdam housing associations Patrimonium and Ons Belang (Amsterdam, Watergraafsmeer, 1918-1921) and by C.J.M. van Duyne 10 residential houses on Doornstraat in Scheveningen (1921).
Working in Amsterdam, Bonda collaborated with H.P. Berlage in 1897 on the project Raadhuissstraat 30-32, Herengracht 184. Bonda's work was influenced by Berlage.
Van Duyne was working in The Hague. Around 1900 he made work in the style of The Hague Art Nouveau, later he worked in the style of the tighter Hague School.
