The archive primarily includes construction drawings, photographs and glass negatives. Brouwer destroyed all correspondence belonging to his archive, at least insofar as it was not stored among the drawings. Of the remaining parts of the archive, it has not been ascertained whether any parts of correspondence originally belonged to it.

The Eibink and Snellebrand sections consist mainly of material from the period Eibink & Snellebrand (1916-1947). The Eibink section contains many "beautiful" drawings from this period, while the Snellebrand section also contains a number of works by Snellebrand from the period after his collaboration with Eibink ended. Most of Eibink's work is in the Brouwer archive.

The construction drawings of the Eibink section had already been completely arranged by the NDB. The construction drawings of the archive section Snellebrand (period Eibink & Snellebrand) were partially arranged by the NDB and merged into folders. However, the accompanying archive list proved too global to serve as a starting point. Above, the drawings were not in chronological order. The remaining parts of the Rapid Fire archival section were left unorganized (tubes and boxes).

Notable is the large amount of material from other archives in the various archive sections. Much archival material from Park Meerwijk in Bergen emerged from the Eibink archival section; Eibink was superintendent for the construction of Park Meerwijk in 1917/18. The odd material in the archive section Snellebrand may be work by his students at the Academy, but the presence of a panel by Michel de Klerk, The Dawn, in the archive section Brouwer is already a lot harder to explain.

The photographs and glass negatives, mostly from the Snellebrand archive section, generally made no mention of their subjects. However, by comparing them with the construction drawings and known works, most of them could be attributed.

The Brewer archive section was stored in rolls and boxes, which were not numbered according to any particular system. The construction drawings themselves were and are partly numbered chronologically.
Work of other architects in the archives Eibink, Snellebrand and Brouwer

The archive contains much work by other architects. This material is described in the
section "Work of other architects.

Material from the Eibink and Snellebrand collection located elsewhere

Appendix I lists furniture designed by Eibink and Snellebrand and included in the NAI furniture collection.
However, the NAI disposed of most of this furniture collection in 1998. This included the furniture by Eibink and Snellebrand. Some of these were given to the ICN (Instituut Collectie Nederland) in Rijswijk. Another part has been given on loan to Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen (NH). Two pieces - a desk and a bookcase - are still at the NAI, in the room of the head of the Collection Department.

Documents relating to the life and work of Snellebrand and Vorkink in other NAI archives

Jan Antonie Snellebrand was director of the Academy of Architecture from 1951 to 1962. This archive is at the NAI. It includes documents concerning the establishment of the Snellebrand Study Travel Fund, which was established after his death.

It has already been mentioned that Eibink probably took over Bureau Vorkink after the war.
This material ended up at the NDB with the Brouwer archive section. The documents of
Vorkink became part of the Vorkink & Wormser archive, which is also at the NAI.
