* brief description:Design of a gallery flat in Cuyk commissioned by Stichting Cevelum (1967-1969). The first five drawings are of a gallery flat for 72 dwellings, composed of five layers. The kitchen and a bedroom are on the gallery side. Behind the kitchen and entrance is the living room with balcony. Behind the bedroom is the bath area, separated by a corridor from two more bedrooms, located at the front.
Drawings 6 to 21 concern the design of 3 flats with 29 dwellings each (7 elderly dwellings, 22 maisonettes). On the first floor are the storerooms and the elderly dwellings. The elderly dwellings have their living room at the front and bedroom at the back, the bathing area and shower are in the middle. The maisonette apartments have their living areas on the first and third floors; at the front is the living room (with stairs), on the gallery side are the hallway and kitchen. The bedrooms are on the second and fourth floors; one large bedroom at the front, two smaller ones at the rear. Each flat has a separate staircase/lift house at one end. The facades are of clean masonry, the window frames are wood and the floors are separated by a concrete frame.
