Archivistically, there are two archives here; the archive of the Roosenburg architectural firm (later with P. Verhave and J.G.E. Luyt) and the archive of the TABROS architectural firm.
Roosenburg, who managed both archives, considered and treated the material as one. This is illustrated, for example, by the work (=project) numbering that begins in the TABROS period and continues through the Roosenburg period (see inv. no. 1). A strict separation of the two archives, resulting in two inventories, was not considered, given also Roosenburg's dominant persona in both collaborations. In the heading above the descriptions, however, it is indicated when a project from the TABROS period is involved. The project description in the header is taken from the "works list" (see inv. no. 1) and adjusted if necessary. A topographic-alphabetical classification of the projects has been chosen. For a chronological overview, consult inv.no. 1. Furniture designs that are part of a building project are described under the respective projects. Individual furniture designs are described in the "Interior Piece Designs" section. Attached are four drawing lists concerning the projects "Rijksverzekeringsbank, Amsterdam" and "Kantoorgebouw KLM, 's-Gravenhage." The large quantity of drawings made it necessary to create new drawing lists, as the original lists were missing from the archive.
