Because of the specific working method of Baljeu, who made both drawings and models during the design process, both media are described together in the inventory section. Incidentally, the maquette was often end product because of the experimental nature of many projects. Both supplements from 1994 and 1997 have been inserted into the arrangement of this inventory but the original numbering has been left intact. This means that there is a substantive (mainly chronological) arrangement, but numbering is no longer sequential. For the sake of completeness: inventory numbers 01 through 23 belong to the 1992 acquisition and inventory numbers 24-32 belong to the 1994 and 1997 supplements. This also applies to a number of presentation drawings, which can be regarded not only as stages in a design process but also as separate works of art. In the inventory, models and presentation drawings have been given a part number, consisting of the inventory number and a serial number (e.g. BALJ 07.1), unless only a model is present, in which case a single number will suffice (e.g. BALJ 01).legend descriptions:The descriptions were once made with a view to a standardized digital input.
