* brief description:Design of a hotel flat at Naarden (1958-1962) and Bussem (1958). Drawings 1-3 concern the design of a hotel at Bussum. Rectangular tower with cantilevered substructure for restaurant and café. The six floors have window strips across the entire width, the parapets are interspersed with wide balconies. Much attention has also been paid to the surroundings; entrance with lots of water and fountain, possibility of frontage. From drawing 4 a design for a hotel flat in Naarden is started. The room layout of the flat corresponds to that of Bussum, the room layout and the design of the facades differ. The facade here is more divided into pieces, the apartments are clearly separated (vertical element is missing in Bussum). Layout of the garden is consistent with Bussum. From drawing 20 one talks about plan 'Klein Rubroek' in Naarden. These are specification drawings. The first floor now also has a rectangular floor plan except for two small recesses on two opposite corners where an entrance has been made, and a small extension with a hollow facade where the bar is located.
