* brief description:Design of the Tozindo company building in Dordrecht (1959-1961). Tozindo is a subsidiary of Tomado, a metal-finishing company. The building consists of two floors. The offices and laboratories are stacked, while the three industrial halls behind are spaced out as a volume and have a height of two layers. The office and business areas each have their own entrance. The facades consist of a dark painted steel structure with a horizontal layout. Much glass is used, transparent, colored and frosted. The floor plan is determined by the routing of materials, which are brought in at the back and can follow two completely separate routes: electroplating or hot-dip galvanizing. Therefore, it is actually two factories in one building.
