* brief description:Design of a district switchboard for the PTT in The Hague (1956-1959). Commercial building with basement, first floor and first floor. In the basement the power supply is regulated and the cables are located, on the first floor are the communal areas and sits the main distributor. Departments on both floors face a central corridor. Almost the entire floor is occupied by the large vending room. Two sketch designs are initially shown. One design in which, on the Taco Scheltemastraat side, the first floor and floor are designed the same: window strips with thermoglass and parapets. At the rear, the first floor incorporates more window glass. A slightly sloping gable roof was clad in copper. The second and final design has a first floor constructed of gray brick, a slightly cantilevered, white-plastered first floor and a slightly pitched zinc saddle roof.
