This booklet was created as a result of an excursion by students of the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, who made a trip through Sweden in 1948 and made sketches during that trip. J.A. Snellebrand, a teacher at the Academy in 1948, was the tour guide. As director of the Academy, which he officially became on Oct. 1, 1951, he compiled this booklet. In addition to some sketches by Snellebrand himself, this booklet contains mostly sketches by students. These include W. van der Valk, who worked in Snellebrand's office during his studies.
