In this publication, Piet Blom describes the city of Helmond. It concerns the extension of the existing, mainly shopping city, of Helmond. With the extension of the city, the public street will be extended, hence the passage to the shopping plaza. The meeting center brings about a transition from shopping to playing, sitting, talking and silence. Precisely to achieve these moods, enough people had to live here. All this Piet Blom wanted to achieve by building 't Speelhuis and Paalwoningen Helmond.
