Book provides an overview of the building history of the medical faculty of the Roman Catholic University Nijmegen (R.-K.U., later K.U.N.) and the associated Academic (Radboud) Hospital. This history runs from 1948, the year of obtaining state subsidies and attracting J.A. van der Laan as architect for the medical faculty, to 1991, the year the book was published. The architects Van der Laan, Dijkema and Croonen are discussed as those primarily responsible for the external features of the faculty. Cooperation with the university administration is also discussed.
