A network-oriented urban traffic noise estimation method : model and application
The core of the presented method is the representation of the traffic system and the building structure annex use in one integrated spatial information system set up according to the segment methodology. Through practical testing for the Stratum district in Eindhoven, it was determined that the developed methodology meets expectations and can contribute to the evaluation of environmental nuisance consequences of alternative plans.
