The Linnaeus Street etc. : built in 1947, demolished in 1977
On the basis of data on occupancy, exploitation and backgrounds of the allotment policy, the causes of the rapid social decay of the dwellings built between 1947 and 1949 and demolished in 1977 in the Linnaeusstraat and its surroundings in Leeuwarden were investigated. Factors that played a role include: the psychological effect of technical decay and the municipal allocation policy that placed a concentration of problem families in the neighborhood.
