Research on the factors that determine the mobility and housing choice of older households: the moving of older people as an individual choice process, the exploratory methods of analysis and the choice models used. Residential mobility can be satisfactorily predicted using the variables: previous ownership ratio, household composition, the interaction between the two and the age of the household head possibly supplemented by first-order interaction effects and the second-order interaction in the logit model.
