The current discourse on the consequences of climate change mitigation is still limited to the extent to which sea levels might rise. Against this background, how designers, architects and urban planners can respond to a retreating government, the (internationally) increasing urbanization and growing poverty of the urban population is not really addressed. Improvisations on Urbanity initiates pragmatic action, flexibility and individual creativity. The publication focuses on the international aspect of climate change and its effects on architecture, urban planning and interior design.
