The Rolex Learning Center is at the same time a learning laboratory, a library with 500,000 works and an international cultural centre. It is open to both students and the public. With a continuous 20,000 m2 surface, it provides services, libraries, information centers, social areas, places to study, restaurants, cafés and splendid surroundings. The building is extremely innovative, with soft slopes and from terraces undulating around interior "patios". Not to be forgotten, practically invisible pillars support the curved roof, a structure which required novel building methods.
