In Tent and pyramid : architectural history and criticism after 1970, the changes in the practice of twentieth-century architectural history in the Netherlands are analyzed and the fortunes of the international practice of different types of architectural criticism are outlined. With this, after years, a text is again available that supports speaking and writing about contemporary architecture and its recent history. Tent and Pyramid is intended as the impetus for a revival of architectural criticism and the public architectural debate.
