This structural vision for the highway environment is an instrument from the new Spatial Planning Act (Wro) and is intended to improve the spatial quality of the highway environment and secure the recognizable and characteristic landscape qualities in the highway environment for the future. This vision is binding on the national government and serves as a starting point for its own spatial and spatially relevant policies. Co-governments are asked to take this vision into account in the translation of their own policy. The national government will stimulate and facilitate the implementation of the vision in the policy of local governments and, if necessary, regulate it.
