Nuke is a collaborative project around the global theme Polluted Generation. The theme Polluted Generation derives from the dystopic ambition Nuke set for itself at its inception, to serve as an extended “self-portrait of a Polluted Generation” by giving space and opportunities for young artists, writers and designers to express themselves. The work presented by Nuke explicitly engages with the themes and issues within the wider world, such as historical change, economic forces, death, guilt, destruction and beauty, as opposed to work that is myopically focused with the internal concerns of art making.
