In 2008, the government outlined a future vision of a healthy, prosperous, internationally competitive and safe Netherlands in 2030. To achieve that, we face major challenges in the areas of climate change, aging, education, mobility and security. We have learned in recent years that the emphasis must shift from continuous growth to sustainable development. Not just more, but above all better: for us, for our descendants and for our planet.
