The culture of the Dutch seaside resort : architecture and design
Project with the aim of offering municipalities a substantive stimulus in the development of their plans regarding the atmosphere, external appearance, spatial qualities and use of their seaside resorts. 9 designers were invited to make proposals for new developments along the coast, which served as a basis for further discussion: the architects Lars Spuybroek, Tom Frantzen and Niklaas Deboutte; the landscape architects Bruno Doedens, Jeroen Bosch and Huub Juurlink, and the product designers Ester van de Wiel, Hélène van Dooremolen and Wim Poppinga.
