Single-family apartment : a conversation among city makers : stacked housing for families in the city?
Are family apartments the new norm for urban living? A conversation about opportunities and (im)possibilities for inner-city living. Living, working and living in a compact city is the main motivation for young parents to want to stay in the city. This presents Rotterdam with a special building task: how can the city accommodate the modern urban family in an urban way? To investigate this, Rotterdam wrote the Open Call for Family Apartments in 2015. The municipality summarized it in the publication 'Single Family Apartments'.
