In Prix de Rome 2018. Architecture, four talented young architects and urban planners present their inspiring designs. The work of these architects is distinguished by the innovative approach, the spatial quality of their solutions, experimental attitude, relevance and potential for the future. What solutions will they contribute to a task formulated by the jury with the overarching theme "Low Pressure - High Pressure," and who will ultimately win the Prix de Rome 2018? Nominees: Alessandra Covini, Bram van Kaathoven, Katarzyna Nowak, Rademacher de Vries The Prix de Rome is the oldest and most generous prize in the Netherlands for architects and visual artists under the age of 35. The aim of the prize is to track talented architects and encourage them to develop further and increase their visibility. Since 2012, the prize has been organized and funded by the Mondriaan Fund. The winner receives a sum of €40,000 and a working period at the American Academy in Rome.
