The division between living and working, one of the dogmas of modernist urbanism, is being challenged with today's service economy. More and more people are working from home, in homes that were never designed for this purpose. With researcher-architect Frances Holliss, DASH looks at the phenomenon of working from home and its impact on residential culture. How do you create suitable commuting environments for an extremely diverse group of home workers?
