In this article, Parel describes the various options, regarding the choice of materials for the parapets (detail drawings different variants), that the construction team had and the considerations that were ultimately decisive for the choice of a concrete:concrete element to be considered for execution. The consultant for the concrete structures was Raadgevend Ingenieursbureau Aronsohn N.V. and the main contractor was N.V. Aanneming Maatschappij J.P. van Eesteren. The supplier of the concrete elements was N.V. Schokbeton.
