Article following a visit to the new Baarle-Nassau (Border) station and the Roosendaal station by members of the Maatschappij tot Bevordering der Bouwkunst. Van Heukelom describes the condition of the former Roosendaal station, describes the new yard, the platforms, the customs shed, the reservoir, the traction equipment, the tunnel, the modifications to the main building (presumably a standard design by Government Architect ir. D.E.C.Knuttel) and the execution of the works, and he provides technical data about the site. The old Roosendaal station had been officially condemned as early as 1890.
