M.F. Duintjer designed the "Kruiskerk" in Amstelveen in or before 1951. B. Guntenaar made a dove on the pulpit, handles on the draft doors and a handle on the baptismal font lid. Ir. G. Fuchs of N.V. Installatiebouw-Amsterdam made the heating system. Ing. P. van der Weiden was consultant for the concrete and steel construction. S. Woudstra of Arnhem was the contractor. The contractor delivered the church in May 1951. The floor plan of the church is a square with a semicircle, against which twelve rectangular isosceles triangles are placed. The wall of the church has a large number of small windows, making the wall appear perforated. The article discusses the construction and program of requirements.
