The article contains some history about town hall competitions and in particular the preliminary process of the Eindhoven competition. Furthermore, the article contains a comparison between the Amsterdam Town Hall Competition and the Eindhoven Town Hall Competition. The jury report included in the article contains the reflections devoted to the plans of the four architects who qualified for the multiple assignment. The article ends with the final verdict of the jury committee, dated May 11, 1939.
