Of interest to Kropholler because this is an infill of a project for which Kropholler designed: the Scheveningen church building on the lot bounded by Neptune Street, Second Mess Street, Circus Street and Berkenbosch Blok Street. Van Moorsel had to adhere to Kropholler's design especially with the floor plan. Nevertheless, the church itself also shows an influence of Kropholler; Van Moorsel's style is a more modern, austere variant.
