3rd Coastal memorandum : tradition, trends and future
As far as the 3rd Coastal Note is concerned, the pressure on the coast from land and sea is increasing. Climate change is taken into account, especially accelerated sea level rise. This will require wider and stronger flood defenses in the future. From land, the coast is increasingly used by functions, which take up the space still available in the coast for widening the flood defenses.
