2023 marks exactly 100 years since the Maison d'Artiste was designed by Theo van Doesburg and Cor van Eesteren for a De Stijl exhibition in Paris in 1923. The cardboard maquette was soon lost but the black and white photographs have been published worldwide. This book was written by Mick Eekhout as professor of Product Development TU Delft, in the general cultural interest. In Delft, between 1999 and 2004, under his direction, students ventured to buildability, reconstruct geometry and color composition and build a large scale model. The aim of the traveling exhibition "100 Years of Myth Maison d'Artiste" is to digitally give the Maison d'Artiste a renaissance from architecture and building technology to experience.
