The Architecture Map of Amsterdam-North, compiled by ARCAM in collaboration with the City Council of Amsterdam-North. Historically and also architecturally, Amsterdam-Noord is a unique part of Amsterdam. From nineteenth-century dike houses, garden villages, industrial buildings on the former shipyards and the progressive architecture of the famous Plan Van Gool, to contemporary architecture such as the Kraanspoor and the EYE Film Institute Netherlands: Noord has it all. The Architecture Map of Amsterdam-Noord explains the eventful architectural and urban development of the district. The map includes an index of buildings and parks, an architect directory, three bicycle routes and photographs.
