This publication contains the results of the twelfth Eo Wijers competition. Under the title Waar Wij Willen Wonen, eleven design teams sketch a perspective for regions in South Holland, Zeeland, Flevoland and Gelderland. The motto was taken from Jac. P. Thijsse: images at eye level, executed in watercolor. The teams were sent in search of new beauty in an increasingly impoverished landscape, where space claims and conflicts are piling up, nature is deteriorating and solutions to climate and nitrogen are being pushed back. Aided by the new tailwind for spatial planning, in which water and soil are leading, the designers dare to look to the future and the longer term. This publication presents the entries in words and images, along with the jury reports and a contribution by Teun van den Ende and Steven Slabbers. In an essay, they analyzed the entries against the background of current developments in the field of spatial planning. Finally, ten theses are included that contain reflections by the board, jury and committee of recommendation, aimed at the national government, the provinces and the professional world.
