Soup plate
Ivory deep plate with silver-plated rim, marked 'Pirken-Hammer, Czechoslovakiaen'. The plate is part of a set of three soup plates from the daily service of the Sonneveld family. It was purchased from the firm of Jungerhans in Rotterdam.
The residence was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
