Replica ladies armchair by the fireplace in house Sonneveld in Rotterdam. This armchair (Gispen Model 407) was made during the reconstruction of Sonneveld House in 2001. It is a low, sprung and backless armchair with Gisolite armrests. The original chair was upholstered with a fabric from the Metz & Co. firm's assortment. It was chosen from Metz's just-released sample book, for which the artist Bart van der Leck had determined a color range. For the chairs by the fireplace, the Peach cloth was chosen, a luxurious brushed cotton, better known as peau de pèche B.H. 903, vermilion red.
