Electric coffee grinder in the kitchen of house Sonneveld. The mill is made of cast iron and weighs about 4.2 kilograms. The mill is almost identical to the coffee grinder purchased in 1933 in House Sonneveld. It was most probably made by the German firm SIEMENS (Type E 200) in the early 1930s. However, the logo of this company is missing. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
