Vase (KO 1504)

Golden yellow vase by A.D. Copier. The vase is made of mold-blown, cut glass. The shape of the vase is traced from the so-called stolp vase, a model from the geometric series and fitted with a ground foot. The vase stands in the master bedroom of Sonneveld House. The design dates from 1932, just before the completion of the house in 1933. It was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
