Finger cloth 'Visschen' (Model 561)
One of 8 finger wipes "Fish" by Chris Lebeau, from the Sonneveld family. Dessin of fish in Art Nouveau style, full of movement and rhythm. The factory mark 'VD' (Van Dissel) is woven in. Designer Lebeau made a separate design for the tablecloth, napkins and finger wipes, with variations on the basic motifs. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
