Unica footstool by W.H. Gispen. Especially for Mrs. Sonneveld in 1933, W.H. Gispen designed this footstool for under her Thonet desk in the living room. The bench has a chrome-plated tubular steel frame base and fabric upholstery. The bench was reupholstered in 2016 with a wool velour épinglé, in the color black.
House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
