Towels
Four linen towels by C.L. van der Mijll Dekker, done in light pastel yellow (twice) and light pastel blue. The towels hang in the guest room of Sonneveld House and were acquired for the benefit of Sonneveld House. K itty van der Mijll Dekker was engaged as a designer in 1935 by linen and damask weaving company E.J.F. van Dissel & Sons in Eindhoven. Her assignment was to develop modern household textiles such as drying cloths, bedding, tableware and possibly new products.
