Ceiling Lamp (GISO Model 167)
Ceiling lamp (Giso model 167) consisting of a large glass disc, a small glass disc and a cylindrical balloon of Giso glass. The Giso 167 was for incandescent bulbs up to 100 watts. The lamp hangs in the bedroom of daughter Magda (Puck) of House Sonneveld. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
