Electric clock from AEG. The dial is glass with black lines. It was manufactured by A.C. Degens, also the glass supplier for Sonneveld House. The clock has an extra mechanism that indicates that the clock has stopped due to a calamity. This built-in clock hangs in daughter Magda's bedroom in Sonneveld House. The house was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
