Steel tube frame bed (Gispen model 756), with a chrome-plated steel frame and with boards at the head and foot ends of yellow-painted, veneered wood. The bed is in the master bedroom of Sonneveld House. Considering the frame, the beds are slightly narrower than the original beds. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
