Ceiling Lamp (Giso Model 167)
Ceiling lamp (Giso model 167) with chromed metal base, cylindrical opal glass balloon (diameter 25.5 cm.), two cut and partly frosted glass discs in two sizes (largest glass 50 cm. diameter, smallest 40 cm.), which are suspended around the balloon. The lamp hangs in the guest room of Sonneveld House. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family after a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
