Bed (Gispen Model 755)
Bed (Gispen model 755) by W.H. Gispen. The bed has a chromed metal base with an Auping coil base and a blue-painted wooden head and footboard. The bed of Magda Sonneveld - eldest daughter, call sign Puck - stands in her bedroom in Sonneveld House. Completed in 1933, the residence was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
