Bed (Gispen Model 755)
Bed (Gispen model 755) by W.H. Gispen. The bed has a chromed metal frame with an Auping spiral base and a wooden head and footboard painted yellow. The bed of Gésine Sonneveld, youngest daughter, call sign Gé - stands in her bedroom in Sonneveld House. Completed in 1933, the residence was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
